Probreviceps durirostris Loader, Channing, Menegon, and Davenport, 2006, Zootaxa, 1237: 49. Holotype: BMNH 2005.1564, by original designation. Type locality: "Ikwamba Forest Reserve, Morogoro Region, Kilosa District, Ukaguru Mountains, Tanzania, 06° 21′ 31.5″ S; 36° 58′ 57.8″ E, 1500 m".

Comment

Most closely related to Probreviceps rungwensis (as Probreviceps macrodactylus rungwensis) according to the original publication. Harper, Measey, Patrick, Menegon, and Vonesh, 2010, Field Guide Amph. E. Arc Mts. Tanzania and Kenya: 90–91, provided a brief account.
