Eleutherodactylus hedricki Rivero, 1963, Breviora, 185: 2. Holotype: MCZ 36903, by original designation. Type locality: "El Verde, west flank of El Yunque, [Bosque Experimental de Luquillo,] Puerto Rico, 1500 feet".
