Eleutherodactylus etheridgei Schwartz, 1958, Am. Mus. Novit., 1873: 16. Holotype: UMMZ 110180, by original designation. Type locality: "United States Naval Base, near Guantánamo Bay, Oriente [now Guantánamo] Province, Cuba".
