Diasporus majeensis Batista, Köhler, Mebert, Hertz, and Veselý, 2016, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 178: 279. Holotype: MSF 97293, by original designation. Type locality: "on the top of Cerro Chucantí, at Majé mountain range, Rio Congo Arriba, Distrito de Chepigana, Darién, Panama . . . (8.79936 N, 78.46156 W; 1380 m a.s.l.)".
