Distribution

Known from the type locality (Cascas), and 8.7 km south from Hacienda Cascas, Department of Junín, Peru, ca. 2600 to 4000 m elevation.

Comment

In the Phrynopus peruanus group. Lehr, 2006, Herpetologica, 62: 339-340, noted that specimens reproted from the Departamento Huánuco represents and unnamed species.
