Eleutherodactylus telefericus La Marca, 2005, Herpetotropicos, Mérida, 2: 51. Holotype: ULABG 2232, by original designation. Type locality: "proveniente del camino entre la tercera estación (La Aguada) y la cuarta estación (Loma Redonda) del Teleférico de Mérida, 3500 m.s.n.m., Municipio Libertador, Estado Mérida, Venezuela".

Distribution

Páramo habitats in the Sierra Nevada de Mérida in the vicinity of the Laguna La Fria, from two stations along the aerial cable tramway, Municipio Libertador, Estado Mérida, Venezuela, 3400 to 3500 m elevation.

Comment

Most similar to Eleutherodactylus colostichos according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128. Not assignable to a species group according to Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 128.
