Distribution

Known only from the type locality in cloud forest at 1600 m elevation in the Reserva Ecológica Río Zuñag, Provincia de Tungurahua, Ecuador. 

Comment

Similar to Pristimantis cremnobates, Pristimantis rubicundus, and Pristimantis nigrogriseus, according to the original publication.
