Distribution

Known only from 1700 m in the Cordillera de Cutucú and 1550–1830 m in the Cordillera del Cóndor, Ecuador, and adjacent Peru.

Most similar to Eleutherodactylus incomptus and Eleutherodactylus martiae according to the original publication. In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) martinicensis series, Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group according to Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 230.
