Comment

Of ambiguous placement in groups, according to the original publication, with similarities to both the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus and Eleutherodactylus diastema groups. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128. Not assignable to a species group according to Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 127. Ospina-Sarria, Velásquez-Trujillo, and Bolívar-García, 2015, Herpetol. Notes, 8: 27–30, provided the record for Dagua Municipality, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
