Distribution

Three localities at 830 and 1200 m in cloud forest on the lower slopes of the Andes in northwestern Ecuador (Esmeraldas Province) and adjacent Colombia (Departamento Nariño).

Subgenus Eleutherodactylus, Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group according to the original publication.
