Distribution

Elevations of 28–1200 m in humid subtropics of foothills of the Andes in northwestern Ecuador (Esmeraldas and Valle del Cauca Provinces) and southwestern Colombia (Nariño and Valle del Cauca Departments).

Comment

Subgenus Eleutherodactylus, Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group, most readily confused with Eleutherodactylus rosadoi, according to the original publication.
