Distribution

Known  from the type locality (13.5 km E Loja, at the crest of the cordillera, Abra de Zamora, between Provincia Loja and Zamora-Chinchipe) and ca. 9 km to the south of that locality in the Reserva Madrigal del Podocarpus, Loja Province, Ecuador, 2770 to 2960 m elevation.
