Distribution

Known only from the type locality (unique holotype now lost) (Quissange, western Angola).

Comment

Considered a junior synonym of Leptopelis bocagii by Loveridge, 1933, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 74: 393. Nevertheless, Perret, 1976, Arq. Mus. Bocage, Ser. 2, 6: 23, thought it distinctive.
