Species World: 17; and Schätti, Perret, and Mariaux, 2002, Cat. Comm. Types Amph. Rept. Mus. Hist. Nat. Geneve, Vers. 4.0 (Jan. 2002): 7. Type locality: "Mwakoumel, env. 1250 m", Cameroon.

Obudu Pleateau of Nigeria; in Cameroon in disjunct populations on the southern and western slopes of the Cameroon Range (except Mount Cameroon), 1100-1200 m elevation.
