Distribution

Southern Cameroon, east and south of the Sanaga River, south into Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon, east through southwestern Central African Republic to western Rep. Congo and northeastern Dem. Rep. Congo in low elevation rainforest.

 Lasso, Rial, Castroviejo, and De la Riva, 2002, Graellsia, 58: 21-34, provided notes on ecological distribution in Equatorial Guinea. Pauwels and Rödel, 2007, Herpetozoa, Wien, 19: 135-148, did not note the species as occurring in Gabon. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 242–243, provided a brief account, photograph, and range map, including Gabon specifically as well as western Rep.
