Alsodes valdiviensis Formas, Cuevas, and Brieva, 2002, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 115: 709. Holotype: IZUA 3202, by original designation; destroyed by fire on 3 December 2007. Type locality: "Cerro Mirador (40° 08′ S, 73° 40′ W; 1100 m altitude) 60 km W la Unión (by road) Provincia Valdivia, Región de Los Lagos" Chile.

Distribution

Cordillera Pelada in Nothofagus forest, Región de Los Ríos, and Isla Grande de Chiloé, Región de Los Lagos, Valdivia Province, Chile.
