Ichthyophis nokrekensis Mathew and Sen, 2009, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, Occas. Pap., 309: 13. Holotype: ZSI-ERS 840, by original designation. Type locality: "Meghalaya, West Garo Hills, Nokrek Biosphere Reserve, Sasatgre (Alt. 341 m, N 25° 28′ 09.3″ E 90° 15′ 39.7″)", northeastern India.
