Boulengerula niedeni Müller, Measey, Loader, and Malonza, 2005, Zootaxa, 1004: 39. Holotype: NMK A/4294, by original designation. Type locality: "approximately 100 m behind the matatu (bus) terminus at Mwalangi shopping centre, Sagalla Hills, Taita-Taveta District, Kenya . . . . dug up from underneath a banana plant on a local shambe (small agricultural holding) at approximately 1080 m above sea leve (S03° 30.76′, E38° 34.59′)".

Sagalla Caecilian (Measey, Malonza, and Muchai, 2009, Amph. Taita Hills: 64).

Distribution

Known only from Sagalla Hills, an isolated mountain block of the Taita Hills in southern Kenya, 1000 to 1550 m elevation.
