Humid Pacific lowlands and premontane slopes of the southern Pacific slopes of Costa Rica and adjacentwestern Panama; premontane zone of Atlantic slope Costa Rica and southern lower monte belt of the Cordillera de Talamanca, 404-2000 m elevation.
