Thorius aurens — Liner and Casas-Andreu, 2008, Herpetol. Circ., 38: 36. Incorrect subsequent spelling.

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality on the north slope of Cerro Pelón, a prominent massif of the Sierra Juarez in montane pine-oak-fir and upper cloud forest, 2475–3000 m elevation, Oaxaca, Mexico.
