Oedipina carablanca Brame, 1968, J. Herpetol., 2: 16. Holotype: LACM 1728, by original designation. Type locality: "west shore of the river on the eastern edge of the rubber tree finca, 0. 5 km south of railroad tracks (one mile east of Guapiles), 300 m (980 ft) elevation, Los Diamantes, Canton de Pococi, Provincia de Limón, Costa Rica".

Los Diamantes Worm Salamander (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 32).

Distribution

Known from several localities on the Atlantic versant of Limón Provice, Costa Rica, in the humid Atlantic lowlands (300 to 850 m elevation).
