Bolitoglossa taylori Wake, Brame, and Myers, 1970, Am. Mus. Novit., 2430: 3. Holotype: KU 116544, by original designation. Type locality: "south ridge of Cerro Cituro, Serranía de Pirre, at an elevation of approximately 1100 meters (3608 feet), Darién Province, Republic of Panama".

In the Bolitoglossa (Eladinea) adspersa group of Parra-Olea, García-París, and Wake, 2004, Biol. J. Linn. Soc., 81: 336. Köhler, 2011, Amph. Cent.
