Batrachuperus longdongensis Liu and Tian In Fei, Ye, and Tian, 1983, Acta Zootaxon. Sinica, 8: 210. Holotype: CIB 6I0013, by original designation. Type locality: "Longdon River, Mt. Emei, Sichuan, 1300 m", China. Second description with incorrect subsequent spelling of species name.

(eds.), Studies on Chinese Salamanders: 49-53, and Inger, Zhao, Shaffer, and Wu, 1990, Fieldiana, Zool., N.S., 58: 5. Rescribed by Fei, Ye, and Tian, 1983, Acta Zootaxon. Sinica, 8: 210.
