Rhacophorus poecilonotus Boulenger, 1920, J. Fed. Malay States Mus., 8: 294. Holotype: BMNH, by original designation, these being BMNH 1947.2.8.55–59 (formerly 1915.12.2.61–66) and 1973.1361–1362, by museum records. Type locality: "Sungei Kumbang, 4,700 feet, Korinchi Peak, Sumatra", Indonesia.
