Comment

Confused with Polypedates otilophus prior to its naming, according to the original publication, where the populations in Java were provisionally assigned to Polypedates pseudotilophus. See comment under Polypedates otilophus for relevant literature from when Polypedates pseudotilophus was considered to be conspecific with that population. Kurniawan, Septiadi, Kadafi, Fathoni, Prabasari, and Thammachoti, 2023, Asian Herpetol. Res., 14: 167–174, provided genetically-confirmed records from East and Central Java, Indonesia.
