Arthroleptella subvoce Turner, De Villiers, Dawood, and Channing, 2004, Afr. J. Herpetol., 53: 2. Holotype: SAM 51705, by original designation. Type locality: "seep covered in dense restios in the Groot Winterhoek Wilderness Area, Western Cape Province, South Africa (33° 0′ S x 19° 3′ E)".

Comment

Most closely related to Arthroleptella bicolor according to the original publication, where external morphology, advertisement call, and molecular markers were detailed. See account by Du Preez and Carruthers, 2009, Compl. Guide Frogs S. Afr.: 358-359. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 366–367, provided a brief account, photograph, and range map.
