Amietia moyerorum Channing, Dehling, Lötters, and Ernst, 2016, Zootaxa, 4155: 36. Holotype: ZMB 81781, by original designation. Moyer's River Frog (original publication). 

Distribution

Known from the Nyika Plateau in Malawi, north through Mbeya, the Rukwa Valley to Mumba, Mount. Rungwe and the Udzungwa Mountains as far as Kisolanza in Tanzania, between 800–1400 m, although presumably has a wider range, likely extending into northeastern Zambia.

Comment

Confused with Amietia angolensis prior to its naming according to the original publication. See comment under Amietia angolensis for access to older literature that may address this species under the older umbrella name. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph.
