Proceratophrys laticeps Izecksohn and Peixoto, 1981, Rev. Brasil. Biol., 41: 20. Holotype: EI 5587, by original designation. Type locality: "Reserva Florestal da Companhia Vale do Rio Doce, no Município de Linhares, Estado do Espírito Santo", Brazil.

Distribution

Southern coastal Bahia and Espírito Santo to near the Rio de Janeiro border, Brazil.
