Manalar Night Frog (original designation). 

Manalar Wrinkled Frog (Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Deepak, and Kulkarni, 2023, Fauna India Checklist, vers. 5.0 : 9).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality, Upper Manalar, Periyar Tiger Reserve, Idukki district, which is located south of Palghat gap in the Western Ghats state of Kerala, India.
