Pseudophryne guentheri Boulenger, 1882, Cat. Batr. Sal. Coll. Brit. Mus., Ed. 2: 279. Pseudophryne brooksi Loveridge, 1933, Occas. Pap. Boston Soc. Nat. Hist., 8: 59. Holotype: MCZ 13025, by original designation. Type locality: "Manjimup, near Pemberton, West[ern] Australia". Synonymy by Parker, 1940, Novit. Zool., 42: 96.
