Type locality: "Sandstone C[ree]k, W[estern]A[ustralia] (14°53′ 30S, 125°45′ 99E)", Australia; corrected to "Camp Creek, Mitchell Plateau", Western Australia, by Ellis, Doughty, and Roberts, 2017, Rec. W. Aust. Mus., 32: 9.

Kimberley Division (Mitchell Plateau, Prince Regent Nature Reserve, and inland to Mount Elizabeth Station, as well as on Bigge Island and Augustus Island), northern Western Australia.
