Chiasmocleis bicegoi Miranda-Ribeiro, 1920, Rev. Mus. Paulista, São Paulo, 12: 286. Holotype: MZUSP 595, by original designation; now renumbered MZUSP 924, according to Cruz, Caramaschi, and Izecksohn, 1997, Alytes, 15: 50. Type locality: "Os Perús, S[ão]. Paulo", Brazil.

Distribution

Known with certainly only from the type locality (Perus, Sao Paulo, Brazil). See comment.

Removed from the synonymy of Chiasmocleis albopunctata by de Sá, Tonini, van Huss, Long, Cuddy, Forlani, Peloso, Zaher, and Haddad, 2018 "2019", Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 130: 207, where it had been placed by Cruz, Caramaschi, and Izecksohn, 1997, Alytes, 15: 49-71. Chiasmocleis bicegoi is expected to be more widespread; this need additional investigation.
