Cophixalus kulakula Hoskin and Aland, 2011, Zootaxa, 3027: 42. Holotype: QM J88540, by original designation. Type locality: "boulder field hill approx. 5 km NW of Mt Tozer summit (12° 42′ 37S, 143° 10′ 22″ E, elevation 180 m), Cape York Peninsula, north-east Queensland", Australia.
