Albericus exclamitans Kraus and Allison, 2005, Copeia, 2005: 313. Holotype: BPBM 18319, by original designation. Type locality: "Papua New Guinea, Morobe Province, along Dunch River, 5.6 km (by air) NW of Mt. Shungol summit, 6.8162° S, 146.6915° E, 750 m elevation".

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality on the northwestern slope of Mt. Shungol and from Wagau, approximately 15 km east of the type locality on the aeastern slope of Mt. Shungol, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea.

 Oliver, Iannella, Richards, and Lee, 2017, PeerJ, 5(e377): 1–23, reported on molecular phylogenetics of Choerophryne and provided evidence that Choerophryne exclamatans and an unnamed close relative are phylogenetically distant from the Choerophryne clade, more closely related to former Liophryne and Oxydactyla
