Albericus brunhildae Menzies, 1999, Aust. J. Zool., 47: 353. Holotype: UP 7192, by original designation. Type locality: "Gardens by Mambimpa village nr Mt Mengam (4° 42′ S, 145° 16′ E), Adelbert Range, Madang Province, altitude 360 m", Papua New Guinea.

Asterophrys brunhildae — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 477, by implication.

Distribution

Known from type locality in the Adelbert Range, Madang Province, Bewani Range, West Sepik Province, and Hunstein Mountains of East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea.

Kraus and Allison, 2006, Herpetol. Rev., 37: 364-368, provided a range extension to the Bewani Mountains, West Sepik Province. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 176, characterized the call. Shea and Kraus, 2007, Zootaxa, 1514: 37-60, commented on types.
