Type locality: "Tura Peak Reserve Forest (25°30′29.4″N, 90°13′44.82″E, 640 m asl.), near Tura town, West Garo Hills district, Meghalaya state, Northeast India". English Names

Garo White-lipped Horned Frog (original designation; Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Deepak, and Kulkarni, 2023, Fauna India Checklist, vers. 5.0 : 6).

Distribution

Currently known only from the southern slopes of the Tura Peak Reserve Forest (437–640 m elevation), in the West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya state; likely that this species will be found throughout the adjoining Nokrek National Park and BiosphereReserve, however its eastern distribution limits and altitudinal range are yet to be determined.
