Gephyromantis (Duboimantis) tohatra Scherz, Razafindraibe, Rakotoarison, Dixit, Bletz, Glaw, and Vences, 2017, Zootaxa, 4347: 575. Holotype: ZSM 422/2016, by original designation. Type locality: "along the main trail leading from Camp Simpona to the summit of the Marojejy Massif, Sava Region, northeastern Madagascar, at geographical coordinates 14.44400°S, 49.73791°E and an elevation of 1758 m above sea level".
