Mantidactylus (Gephyromantis) enki Glaw and Vences, 2002, Amphibia-Reptilia, 23: 294. Holotype: ZFMK 62293, by original designation. Type locality: "Ambatolahy (between Vohiparara and Ranomafana), south-eastern Madagascar, 21° 15′ S/47° 24′ E, at ca. 800 m above sea level".

Comment

In the Mantidactylus (Gephyromantis) boulengeri group, most similar to Mantidactylus eiselti and Mantidactylus thelenae, according to the original publication. Subsequently placed in Gephyromantis (Gephyromants) by Vences and Glaw, 2006, in Vences et al. (eds.), Calls Frogs Madagascar: 21. Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 212-213, provided an account. Miralles, Köhler, Glaw, Wollenberg Valero, Crottini, Rosa, Du Preez, Gehring, Vieites, Ratsoavina, and Vences, 2023, Salamandra, 59: 1–41, placed this in their Gephyromantis blanci complex and discussed its relationships and calls and provided a dot map.
