Hyperolius atrigularis Laurent, 1941, Rev. Zool. Bot. Afr., 34: 159. Holotype: MRAC 18408, by original designation. Type locality: "Kasiki, (Marungu), Alt. 2.300 m., (Distr. Tanganika)", southeastern Dem. Rep. Congo.
