Hylodes otavioi Sazima and Bokermann, 1983 "1982", Rev. Brasil. Biol., 42: 767. Holotype: MNRJ 4163, by original designation. Type locality: "Km. 126 da estrada de Vespasiano a Conceição do Mato Dentro, Serra do Cipó, Jaboticatubas [now Santana do Riacho], Minas Gerais", Brazil.
