Hyloscirtus hillisi Ron, Caminer, Varela-Jaramillo, and Almeida-Reinoso, 2018, ZooKeys, 809: 105. Holotype: QCAZ 68649, by original designation. Known only within 1.7 km of the type locality (3.5190°S, 78.3788°W) on a flat-topped limestone mountain in the Río Quimi basin, Provincia Zamora Chinchipe, Ecuador, at elevations between 1991 and 2134 m.
