Bokermannohyla itapoty Lugli and Haddad, 2006, J. Herpetol., 40: 8. Holotype: CFBH 05643, by original desgination. Type locality: "on a flat rocky surface of Lençóis river (12° 33′ 13″ S, 41° 24′ 48″ W) in Serra do Sincorá, Município de Lençóis, Bahia, Brazi".

Distribution

Known from the type localtiy in the Chapada Diamantina, Municipality of Lencois, and from the Municipalities of Andaraí, Mucugê, and Palmeiras, in Bahia, northeastern Brazil.

Comment

Most closely related to Bokermannohyla alverangai, according to the original publication, where adult and larval external morphology and the advertisement call were described.
