Eleutherodactylus ronaldi Schwartz, 1960, Sci. Publ. Reading Public Mus. Art Gallery, 11: 14. Holotype: AMNH 63401, by original designation. Type locality: "La Esperancita [=La Isabelica], 3500 feet, Gran Piedra, 1.9 miles southeast, thence 10 miles northeast of Sevilla, Oriente [now Santiago de Cuba] Province, Cuba".
