Colostethus imbricolus Silverstone, 1975, Contrib. Sci. Nat. Hist. Mus. Los Angeles Co., 268: 6. Holotype: LACM 71998, by original designation. Type locality: "upper Quebrada Mutata, Alto de Buey, Departamento del Chocó, Colombia, about 200 to 300 m elevation".
