Comment

Most similar to Eleutherodactylus lynchi and Eleutherodactylus bogotensis according to the original publication. Lynch and Renjifo, 2001, Guia Anf. Rept. Bogota: 57, presented a brief account and photograph. See Renjifo, 2004, in Rueda-Almonacid et al. (eds.), Libro Rojo Anf. Colombia: 338-341, provided an account and map. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128. Not assignable to a species group according to Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 128. See map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status (as Eleutherodactylus renjiforum) in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 372. Avellaneda-Moreno and Delgadillo-Méndez, 2020, Catal. Anf. Rept. Colombia, Medellín, 6: 57–62, provided a detailed literature review and account, including natural history, photograph, morphology, and range map. Cruz-Rodríguez, Lynch, Cárdenas, and Caicedo-Portilla, 2021, Zootaxa, 4965: 264, pictured a paratype in the MLS.
