Distribution

Known only from the type locality, Tompoi Camp, 1650–1700 m elevation in mossy montane forest in the Nakanai Mountains of eastern New Britain Island, Bismarck Archipelago (Papua New Guinea).

Comment

Most similar to, and suggested to be most closely related to, Platymantis macrosceles and Platymantis mamusiorum according to the original publication.
