Rhinella manu Chaparro, Pramuk, and Gluesenkamp, 2007, Herpetologica, 63: 204. Holotype: MHNCP 3005, by original designation. Type locality: "near Tres Cruces, approximately 134 km northeast of Cusco (13° 06′ 19.2″ S, 71° 17′ 00″ W) at 2750 m elevation, Distrito de Paucartambo, Provincia de Paucartambo, Departamento de Cusco, Peru".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known from the type locality (Trocha Union Km 6, situated in the Valle de Kosnipata, within the Reserva Biósfera del Manu, Province of Paucartambo) and from the Aednoshiari native Community, Urubamba River Basin, La Convención Province, all in the Departamento de Cusco, Peru, 2750 and 2696 m elevation.

Similar to Rhinella arborescandens according to the original publication. Chávez, Vásquez, and Echevarría, 2013, Check List, 9: 840-843, provided a second record for the species.
