Bufo corynetes Duellman and Ochoa-M., 1991, Copeia, 1991: 138. Holotype: KU 173229, by original designation. Type locality: "west slope of Abra Málaga (ca 13° 09′ S, 72° 20′ W, elev. 3780 m), 50 km (by road) northwest of Ollantaytambo, Provincia Urubamba, Departamento Cuzco, Peru".
