Given as ZSI-SRS VA/775 by Chanda, Das, and Dubois, 2001 "2000", Hamadryad, 25: 103. Type locality: "Kummattan Thodu, a tributary of River Kunthi, Silent Valley, S. India, Altitude 1005 metres", Kerala, India.
