Atelopus mandingues Osorno-Muñoz, Ardila-Robayo, and Ruiz-Carranza, 2001, Caldasia, 23: 516. Holotype: ICN 34959, by original designation. Type locality: "Colombia, Cundinamarca, Junín, Reserva Biológica Carpanta, sector Dunning (= casa de la Reserva), ca 4° 34′ latitud N, 73° 41′ longitud W de Greenwich, 3000-3050 m".
